Red Hawks Management Team

Rob Bohn
President & Board Member. Rob has coached with the Redhawks since 2008. Twice his teams have reached the Northern California Junior Lacrosse Association playoffs. Rob ran the South Bay Red Riders travel team, coached an All-West Lacrosse Elite travel team, and now coaches with the Chauncey Boys. When away from coaching, Rob is a trial lawyer.

Will Schmidt
Girls Director and Board Member. Will has coached girls lacrosse for 4 years at 8U & 10U level, as well as coaching little league baseball and rec soccer. Aligned with the Red Hawks philosophy, Will is an advocate for kids being multi sport athletes, with both children playing three seasonal sports. When he is not leading the Red Hawks Girls program, Will is a Product Design Engineer at Apple.

Bill Cleary
Club Founder and Board Member. Bill Cleary grew up playing Lacrosse on Long Island and came to California in '81 when he joined Apple Computer. He's an avid supporter of Lacrosse on the west coast, and is one of the original founders of the West Valley Redhawks. Bill has coached youth lacrosse continuously for the past 14 years at every level. He currently serves on the board as well as filling in as a coach when needed.

Tyler Bell
Former President & Board Member. Tyler has coached lacrosse for over thirteen years, and has been president of the Club since 2014. He learned lacrosse at The Haverford School and played subsequently for Carleton College and Oxford University as player/coach.

Keith Janosky
Former Girls Director and Board Member. Keith has varied coaching experience from lacrosse to baseball, basketball and football. In his spare time he works in the venture capital industry.

AJ O'Brien
Club Founder, Treasurer and Board Member. AJ has served the Red Hawks over the years as a coach, mentor and club President. He began his lacrosse career playing for Colorado Academy, considered to be one of the premier lacrosse programs in the West, and moved to California with Hewlett Packard. His son Chauncey O’Brien was a top player, as well as the inspiration for the creation of our elite travel teams (COB).

Logan
Lichorowic
Board Member and Coach. Logan has been the driving force behind the continued success of the Redhawks U14 boys. He began his lacrosse career as a Red Hawk when the club was first founded, and went on to play at a top level through high school and at Arizona State University. Under his supervision, numerous Red Hawk players have gone on to excel at Bellarmine Prep, Mitty, Los Gatos and Saratoga High School.

Susan Timpano
Board Member and Coach. Susan has had a long career of teaching and coaching. Currently, she is a 5th grade English/Social Studies teacher in Los Gatos and coaches youth soccer and lacrosse. Growing up on the east coast, she learned lacrosse at an early age and played through high school and college with a wooden stick. She is a proponent of life-long sports, being a multi sport athlete, and having fun while working hard. She has two daughters, both of whom are Red Hawks lacrosse players, skiers, and soccer players.

Patrick Sweeney
Boys Director. Born and raised in Baltimore MD. Patrick attended St. Paul’s School and played club for Cockeysville which has produced more DI, DII & DIII All-Americans than any other rec program in the country. While with Cockeysville, Patrick broke the Maryland points record and led his teams to many undefeated seasons.
In high school, Patrick started as a sophomore and led St. Paul’s to a Maryland Interscholastic Athletic Association championship. His team was ranked the number one team in the nation. His senior year, he set the single-season assist record and was a top 10 recruit in the country. Patrick chose to play for D1 Towson University for its rich lacrosse history and academics.
After graduation, Patrick moved to the Sacramento area where he helped design and develop youth and high school programs.
In his "spare time," Patrick works as a financial advisor for Merrill Lynch, plays golf and tennis, skis, takes on triathalons and gives his undivided attention to his very understanding better half, Allison, and their English bulldog, Grammy.
