The West Valley Red Hawks Lacrosse Club, THE South Bay's Lacrosse Club, is a 501(c)(3) non-profit youth sports organization that offers lacrosse instruction and competition to kids in Santa Clara County. The Club was established in 2004 to bring the sport of lacrosse down to the San Jose/Los Gatos area.
The Red Hawks offer lacrosse programs for boys and girls ages pre-K through 8th grade. We accept many brand new beginner lacrosse players and wily old lacrosse players alike at every level.
Red Hawks families come from across the South Bay, including Los Gatos, Saratoga, Campbell, Santa Clara and San Jose.
Registration begins in November and closes mid-January. The season runs February through May with most teams practicing twice per week and games every Saturday and some Sundays March-May.
The Red Hawks are dedicated to developing lacrosse skills, game knowledge, good sportsmanship, teamwork, community, accountability and respect in a healthy and fun environment. The Red Hawks is a recreational and competitive program that develops players in all aspects of the game.
The Red Hawks strive to provide the highest level of coaching instruction at each age level to ensure individual growth in each player's skills and knowledge of how to play this great sport together with respect for the game of lacrosse, teammates, opponents, officials and coaches.
What People are saying about The Red Hawks
Red Hawks Lacrosse has been a great addition to our family. My son had never played lacrosse before we joined the club. But he was welcomed and made to feel right at home. Now heading into our fourth year of lacrosse we can’t wait for the season to start. My son went from being a beginner to a regular starter and a leader on his team. All of his coaches have invested time and energy to help my son be the best lacrosse player possible. The club is supported by a great community of families who love the game of lacrosse.

Red Hawks Lacrosse has been transformative for our children. Our girls have not only learned a great sport, but they have learned leadership skills, how to win and lose gracefully, and have made lifelong friends via the Red Hawks program. Red Hawks kindled an interest in lacrosse that has led the girls to play on travel teams, and to play in high school and soon college.

We knew nothing about the game of lacrosse until my son started playing with the Red Hawks in 5th grade. He played all the way through high school, eventually becoming a captain and leader on the varsity team. His younger sisters have followed in the sport as well. The coaching and team sport experiences in Red Hawks have been instrumental for all three of my children on their journey into young adulthood. The friendships and opportunities for service have deepened our family's ties to the community. Our family experience would be much poorer without the time we've spent on a Red Hawks roster.
