Welcome Kyle Kennedy – Girls’ Director of Coaching Development

Dear Red Hawks Family,

We are excited to announce that Kyle Kennedy will be joining us as the new Girls’ Director of Coaching Development.

In this role, Coach Kyle will guide our girls’ program to develop and improve coaches to ensure players maximize their potential and experience at all age groups and skill levels.  His technical expertise, knowledge of the game and network in the lacrosse community will prove invaluable to our club.

Coach Kyle brings 21 years of experience coaching lacrosse to the West Valley Red Hawks.  He has worked with collegiate women’s lacrosse programs at DI, DII, and DIII schools in various capacities including Volunteer Offensive Coordinator, Volunteer Defensive Coordinator and Volunteer Assistant Head Coach.  Coach Kyle is the Women’s Varsity Lacrosse Head Coach and Women’s Lacrosse Program Director at Archbishop Mitty High School in San Jose, California.

Coach Kyle is actively involved in North Bay, East Bay and South Bay girls’ lacrosse clubs and is a head coach for NorCal Rize.  Coach Kyle is the Girls High School Commissioner for the Northern California Junior Lacrosse Association and participates in the group’s All-Star select process.

In addition to this, Coach Kyle created Girls STIX Together Lacrosse, a nonprofit that provides lacrosse equipment and coaching to low income youth living in Marin County.

“Coaching girls lacrosse is a passion for me. To see young girls, develop into confident teenagers, who in-turn become amazing, passionate, empathic adults is priceless – that is the power of a team!  Teamwork is the ability to work together toward a common vision.  It is the fuel that allows common people to attain uncommon results.”

Coach Kyle can be reached at kyle@redhawkslacrosse.org.

Please join me in welcoming Coach Kyle to the Red Hawks!

Regards,

Keith Janosky

Director of Girls’ Lacrosse
